The way things seem to me are that photography is going to be harder with the pandemic going on. This is because in school we can go to certain places and only use our phones to take pictures which means there are less photo opportunities and the quality won't be as good as our other photos. It is also effecting our opportunities of taking photos outside of school because some places are closed such as museums and galleries which means there are less places to explore and capture new things. In my opinion the main good thing out of taking photos in the pandemic is that we are gonna have to be more creative and make the most out of the resources we have which i believe will make us think and work harder with thinking outside the box. To me the phrase "Make do and mend" means that you have to make the most out of what you have so for example if you only have a phone and pieces of scrap paper then you have to try your hardest to mix it up and change it around by making it unique and trying new ideas.
I would say that my first make do and mend photoshoot went relatively well. This is because I felt like I done certain things in the images then made it more abstract by doing things such as trying different angles and structuring the materials in way that you wouldn't know what it is. Another thing that went well in my opinion is that the photo are eye catching by the way its layed out and the colours and patterns go well together. Something that I didn't like about this photoshoot is that I feel like the photos all look the same because of the certain materials I used and it made it quite repetitive. Next time I'm going to look at the photos mid-way through the shoot to see if they look the same and if they do I need to try new things and change the lay out. I took videos of it all but I didn't really know what to focus on so next time I should plan ahead to make it the best I can.

For this piece of homework I wasn't really sure what to do so I got loads of newspapers and mixed them around, tried things and got the final results which were the photographs that I uploaded and I don't think these are the best photos and I think I could do better if I tried it again with better lighting and more paper however I personally like these photos because each photo has something that stands out about them. For example some of them have a key focus with something more up close to the camera, some have different colour patterns and others have the shading due to the lighting I had which wasn't very good but I feel like I made the most out of it.

In Fridays photography lesson we made are own ready made pictures. Ready made photos are pictures that have already been taken however your job is to make them into something different and solitary. Our objective was too make these photos more unique and interesting then they already were. You could change these photos by doing certain things such as cutting up small parts of the photo and rearranging it, cutting circles out the photos and placing it in different areas of the picture or draw and place things on the photo to make it look more fun and engaging. One thing I brought out of this lesson was that it looked a lot easier then it was, I felt like this because at first I was really struggling for creativeness and good ideas at the start because I was trying new things and cutting up certain pieces but it wasn't really coming together and forming something that caught my eye or that made me think "Oh that would work really well". However, looking back on this I wished I just went with it and made more photos and didn't care as much about making mistakes and not believing I can make a good piece of art. If in our next lesson we try this again then I'm going to try multiple techniques and make as many ready made photos as I can.

In todays lesson we made a type of make do and mend project, I'm not really sure what it is called but it was mainly about cutting pieces of photos with the scalpel and replacing it with a different background and trying to make it more unique and stand out then how it was before. Personally I think this went really bad, I felt like this because I was struggling for ideas and everything that I was trying to do went wrong, for example when I'd cut stuff out it just didn't really look good and nothing really stood out to me about any of these photos because I was lacking in creativeness which made everything seem dull and plain. Another thing that went bad was the actual photos on the website of the making of the art, this is mainly because I had no phone which means the lighting wasn't as well on the photos and you can't really take quick basic photos on a camera. In conclusion this is probably the worst thing on the page and my goal is for everything to be up to good standards before and from now I'm going to put more effort in and try to plan ahead and structure what I am going to do before changing the photo.

Hannah Höch
Personally I would say that Hoch used newspapers and magazines to create this art pieces is because she wanted to create something new and change the whole concept of art into something where you can create a new scenario and meaning of a photo. This could be implied by using sort of sad pieces of newspaper and making it into something that would lighten your mood, this could be done by adding more bright features or even adding a smiley face to to the picture. Another reason why Hoch didn't use painting or drawing to create art is because maybe she felt like it was already there for us and it's just all a puzzle that we had to solve and make the most out of it by making the more interesting and unique art pieces from the already made pieces of art.

In my opinion all you need to make a successful collage is just making and sticking with something you want and seems unique to you, because you're meant to create something that stands out to you and should be proud of. Another thing that creates a successful collage is that you have to put in all your effort and concentration into it, for example if you put minimal effort in then you aren't achieving your full potential which would most likely be bad compared to putting effort in and caring about your art. In the world of early twentieth century there were many things which were stopping woman from pursuing and creating art. A main example of this is the fact that most woman in the early twentieth century were denied access to go to school which stopped them having different desires such as pursuing art as a career.

Threshold concept |
In our lesson on Friday once again we made collages. We used scalpels to cut out the pieces of the picture that was boring or didn't really engage you into the photo then we replaced it with a background image then made the collage more intriguing and unique. I felt like this collage went well as I had more ideas and just got on with it straight away which is good however the photos on the website don't look good and you cant really see where I've cut the pieces of paper from the photo but next time I'll make sure I take better photos which on the website you can clearly see. Artists change our expectations of photography. by changing the whole concept meaning of it, they do this by making different things such as collages and documentaries. By doing these things, it changes our views and meanings on photography which creates new unique ideas for photography.
The way we use photography everyday isn't just by taking photos. Photography changes your mindset towards a more eye catching moments and changes aspects on everything, personally I've noticed myself looking at certain things and then thinking "that would make a good photo". Which is sort of like an artists mind.

Julie Cockburn
Julie Cockburn is an artists who finds random pictures of ordinary people online and changes the photo with different materials. The key thing that stands out about these photos to me is that they are just made out of simple things, no famous people and drawing or painting the photo because it's all about just make do and mend. Julie has made these photos intriguing by changing the whole mood of the photo, for example in the photo on bottom right, Julie covers the mouth of the woman with just playdough which covers the emotions of the photo and that is in what in my eyes makes the photo her own because she changes the whole aspect of the photo from something basic and simple to a bright, unique and abstract photo. I also like the photo on the top middle because she made it an ongoing photo by adding the stickers and it makes the photo more engaging and unravelling which makes the person looking at the photo want to know more and find about it. It also really shows that basic small things can really change a photo.

In our lesson on Friday, once again we made our own photo collage. Personally I thought it went okay, I just got on with it straight away and started cutting up different shapes of the photo. At first I started cutting up the windows of the flats in the background then I started doing the lights and windows of the car and after I didn't really think it was enough, therefore I started cutting up random shapes of the people which personally I don't like, however at least I tried a new idea and know not to do it next time. I don't really like the final piece because all the shapes are just ugly and there's nothing special about it but although I don't like it, I'm glad that I just got on with it straight away and didn't overthink the whole thing.

Marcel Duchamp
1) Duchamp's ‘L.H.O.O.Q.’ picture became so famous because it was a new type of art that no one really thought of doing before and this was a really brave decision to make form Duchamp because it's a really famous piece of art and Duchamp basically took the mick out of it and made it his own piece of art by making it funny and everyone liked it.
2) The name of the art piece "L.H.O.O.Q" is a pun; the letters pronounced in French sound like "Elle a chaud au cul", "She is hot in the arse", or "She has a hot ass". In my opinion Duchamp has named this piece and added the facial hair because he wanted to be himself by making a mockery out of it instead of being boring and respecting it like everyone else.
3) Duchamp's art piece is an example of readymade because the Mona Lisa was a famous photo which was represented at this very serious woman who wouldn't crack a smile and then Duchamp made it is own by adding a funny sense of humour
4) Duchamp's art was seen as a revolutionary piece of art because people saw it as something disrespectful to the original piece made by Leonardo Da Vinci. However the type of art became more of a common thing and people saw the funny side of it.

Sharon Walters
Sharon Walters is a London based artist who creates handmade collages that celebrating black women. The series, entitled 'Seeing Ourselves', explores under representation in many arenas in particular, the Arts and Heritage sector and mainstream western media.
I would say that these collages are inspired by historical culture because of how strong young black independent women are. These photos are expressing how powerful black woman are which is implied by the colourful sprouts coming from the women and personally I think this is a great way of showing it visually. I think that she uses different pictures of women and then finds unique and bright pictures in magazines to put over it and i think she does this by using a scalpel. In my opinion these collages are really engaging because of the story behind them which is about black women and I also loved the way she expressed it. Just like Sharon Walters we have also been making collages about cultural people which is important and should become a normal thing and In my next pieces of work I'm going to try and use the colours to show a message within the collage.
Kensuke Koike
Kensuke Koise is an artist who wants to bring a new element to photography. Koise was born in Japan and now lives in Italy where he spends most of his days at markets buying old photographs that he creates collages out of them in his studio indoors and shows it to the whole world.
In my opinion Koike's work is brilliant and he really knows what he is doing, for example the photo on the top right Koike simply cut a rectangle between the couple kissing and switched their mouths, this is something small but it really works and changes the whole theme and concept of the photo. As you can tell by the photos, Koike has only used one photo in each collage which really shows that you can make something better out of anything. I chose this image by Johaness Vermeer because I felt like it would be the most interesting one to change up due to the fact that this is a very serious painting where everything is bland and dull and personally I thought it needed a little splash of colour and humour. The main thing I wanted to change at first was the boring black background and the fact that it was too bland. Personally I felt like this went quite well and I changed the whole concept of the photo by making it all colourful, happy and something that would make you smile if you looked at it. I made these changes to the photo by finding a new colourful background in a magazine and adding funny features to her face and I feel like it looks a lot better now that I have adapted it. I can't really catch the vibe from the original photo because I have covered the dullness all up. If I was to improve this photo I would maybe change up her hair or add more details to the background to create a more eye catching and indulging piece of art. This is image is inspired by Marchel Duchamp by the way he made Mona Lisa into a funny painting and i tried to copy the concept of the humour.

Aaron Turner
Aaron Turner is a young photographer and educator who is currently in America, Arkansas. Turner takes photos of people of colour based in America, the Arkansas and Mississippi Deltas .Aaron is currently developing the beginning stages of the Centre for Photographers of Colour within the School of Art at the University of Arkansas, he is doing this project to bring a community together who support the history of black people and to hopefully inspire young black artists . As you can tell by the projects he does, Turner doesn't just do photography because he likes it, he does it to express the history of black people in the past because as a young black artist himself, he feels like he needs to represent his culture. His art has presented at many places such as The Virginia Museum Of Contemporary Art, James Kerney Campus Gallery at Mercer County Community College, and the MEDICI Gallery University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
In the photo in the middle, there is a photo of a young black male in the mirror with cracks around it and to left you can see part of Turner's face where he is slightly in front of the mirror. Personally I like this photo because of the detail in the photo and how he has put this together really interests me, the fact that he printed a photo, placed it in front of the mirror and then shattered it and I think he done this to put a deeper meaning into the viewers mind, quite a deep one as well. The first thing that I thought about it when I properly looked into it was that Turner may think that our generation isn't really thinking about the culture of black people and how they got to where they are today. I thought of this because of the cracks in the mirror, this could be a sign that Turner thinks that the history is shattering away and it isn't really cared for as much as it should be. Another thing about this is that Turner puts some of face in the mirror, this could suggest that our generation needs to know more and get involved with the history and culture of black people. Moving on with the actual photo, Turner has used components such as patterns while putting cracks in the mirror which in my opinion creates an mysterious side to it and I feel like he has chose to use a black and white effect to represent the past and how there photos were black and white and he wants to relate to the photo more.

Joachim Schmid
Joachim Schmid is a German artist who works more like an anthropologist. He finds old pictures of people and then mix and matches them up with another one to make an image like the ones above. Schmid studied visual communication at the University of Design in Berlin University of the Arts between 1976 and 1981.
My favourite image out of the three is the one on the left, this is because although these three photos are very similar in terms of what Schmid used for the idea on the photo on the left it is actually a man on the right side of the photo and at first I didn't even notice that. This implies that Schmid doesn't just find random photos and put them together, he looks carefully in detail of what would look together and look similar. Another thing that is pointed out specially is that he does different types of mixing up the photos together, for example the left he has changed the gender, the middle he changed it to a boy with a similar change and then she turns a young girl to a grown woman. This shows the diversity of the photos which is displayed really well in my opinion. Schmid's work really shows me that you can make art out of anything, even the most random things.

Assessment
We spent our whole day creating final piece for our make do and mend project. I found that I was very proactive during this lesson and found it and fun because we had a whole day to focus on it. For these collages I chose figures that are all human, personally I feel like it brings loads of different characteristics to the collage and makes it more upfront and bold. I feel like I done well scalping the photos into a nice and neat shapes which have smooth, neat edges especially because the last few times I couldn't really do it so I could already spot my improvements from last time. I decided to use people to make my collage and used figures which I found in various magazines.
The main things I would change are the scalping on the lady with wings because you can see the white lines, however I would rather just get rid of it because I feel like it doesn't really fit in well with the rest of the figures. I would also change the layout and try out different styles.

This is my refurbished layout for the final piece. I like this a lot more than the first one because the scalping is all neat and I prefer the way I've gone with a sort of black and white theme with a hint of red which creates a more put together well photo in my opinion. Another thing I think I done well is using a variety of shapes and sizes with the figures because personally it adds more of an abstract vibe instead of just using the same plain sizes, for me it feels like it also for the composition I feel like the bigger figures creates a background for the smaller figures. For these collages I chose to use a black background because it in my opinion it blends in well with the sort of greyish and reddish vibe and I felt like it the figures went well with a basic background. The things I could of done better with is taking the photo, I should've took it from a lower angle because you can't see the top on this website but that is easily fixable.
I chose this collage for my final piece because the way it is arranged gives m more of a welcoming and open vibe, because of the way the front of the collage is not just full of small random figures and there is one medium sized figure with his arms out which personally feels like he is the main person opening the collage.
Nazario Graziano
Nazario Graziano Is an Italian freelance illustrator, art director and graphic. He describes his work with romantic, irony, dreamy with good background music. He takes inspiration from old books, tattoos, skateboards, rainbows and things he enjoys on a day day basis.
Personally I really like Graziono's photos because even though they have a very plain and basic, each photo has a character in the middle with a little background or object surrounding it which brings out the colour in the photos. For example the photo on the left has a rose around the man which may show a symbol of war and peace or even the culture of the person himself. One thing that Graziano has done to make his photos more abstract, is that he added writing in the middle photo he quoted "imagination is my favourite game", this implies the creativity of the photo and how he does he wants and what pleases him.

Sergei Sviatchenko
Sergei Sviatchenko is a collage artist from Ukraine. He has lived in Denmark since the 1990s. He graduated in a school of architecture and then studied a PhD at a national academy of art and architecture and that's when he took off with his collages.
Personally I really like these collages because each one has a specific figure in the middle made of two random figures that he has chose and scalped out from photos and although this seems very simple and easy he has made it really interesting, for example the middle photo is just one side of a face and one random figure which I'm not sure what it is but he has chose the composition to make it look like it's poking the eye and this makes the photo more fuuny and abstract because he made something so interesting and good out of nothing.

Prison Photography
Prison authorities would want their inmates to have access to things such as photography workshops because it brings out creativeness and in prison the inmates and shows a completely new side of things to the inmates. This will be a benefit to the inmates because it is something bright and thoughtful that the prisoners can really gain interest in because with prison there isn't really any nice places that you can get a photo of so they really have to be creative and acknowledge the places that really stand out and make a good photo. The challenge for the workshop leaders would be to bring out the creative side of the prisoners as you wouldn't really feel motivated or passionate about taking photos if you are in such a dull place like a prison. Being in prison is very similar to being in lockdown because of covid-19, this is because we are both trapped inside and limited with the space we can go and limited from the free world which you want to explore and try new things but you can't unfortunately. Photography is a good activity for the inmates to rehabilitate because it is a peaceful and relaxing thing to do where you are free to do whatever you want with the camera, in a sense this will give the inmates a taste of freedom because they are normally controlled 24/7 but in this instance they are free to do what they want with photography. The leader would have to consider the limitations around the prison for example they have different times in certain places so they might only have a little room to take these photos however the leader would have to show them and push them to make the most of what they can.
Sluban does this because whatever he does in life he will always think about the people in jail and how they have no access to anything and can't do pracitcally anything compared to the people who aren't in prison. The inmates normally say to Sluban that there is nothing to photograph however Sluban says is there really nothing which inidccates that if you really try hard enough you can find something and that you can make anything out of nothing.
These students benefit from the workshop because in prison they are on a leash and they have to do whatever the guards tell them to do and they don't have a choice however with photography you can be free all you want and take the photos that you want and there is no limit to what you can do so you feel more free and relaxed. This will benefit them because it gives them a taste of what the outside world is like and will make them behave more so they can get out sooner and feel the freeness again. Each inmate was given a single use camera which is a disposable camera that you are only meant to use once.
Nicolo Digiorgis Book
Still-Life
This was my first still-life photoshoot. I chose to do still-life out of all the other topics because I feel like even though it seems like it is meant to be a basic and boring photo of a object, you can actually try to make it abstract, different and stand out to the others by making the photo yours which in my opinion makes the task more challenging and makes you want to work harder. I actually enjoyed doing this because I found it very peaceful and relaxing because it was all up to us to choose the object and backgrounds to us so I chose objects that I thought would make a good focus point for the photo and then the backgrounds were chosen particularly to really outline the photo and making it more interesting instead of a basic plain background.
Activities
I When I first read the task I felt like it was going to be pretty easy and basic to complete however I realised that you had to make your photos stand out and not be just a basic picture and I actually found it quite hard to get good photos for a lot of them because I wanted to try and get the best angles and lighting for the photos which was pretty bad because the lighting was rubbish. Looking back at the photos I actually feel like I could've done better and I feel like these photos are pretty rubbish and basic compared to what I think I could produce. In Fridays lesson we went over this task again and perfected everything. I re-took a lot of the photos that I felt like I could improve on and although I had more time some of the photos weren't the best however that is because some of the objects in my house weren't placed in good places to take photos however I can't change that so I have to make do with it. Overall even though I couldn't get the best quality photos I am pleased with what I have done by improving the photos and making the project better as a whole.
Match the genres
The word genre means putting something into a specific genre or categorising something and placing all the similar things together as a collection.
Some of the main/popular photographic genres include sport, fashion. These are the main ones because they are more to do with what people like in society and it gains more media attention, for example a photo of a football player would gain more attention then a still life photo because more people interact with football.
Personally I prefer landscape photos because I feel like you expect to see more of a background to the photo and what else is going on so you get more of a story to the photo however it is not always like that. In my opinion I didn't really like the examples of landscape images, this is because they were only just a black and white photo of the city from a far point of view. Personally I think like they could've took it in more of a open place like where they go for lunch or even the playground but obviously it is understandable as it will be hard to get a good place to take photos in a prison or even edited the photo to make a part of the photo not black and white just to add that bit of interest.
It is more conventional to get a good place to take photos in a prison because there isn't much light or anywhere colourful with a good display to take a photo of, another thing is that it isn't really a happy place so you aren't necessarily going to get a happy, upbringing vibe photo. This photo is made a landscape because of the physical figures and the angle that the photo is taken at.
Although these photos are put on the right hand side of the page which makes it look like a portrait format, you can just tell from looking at the photo that it is landscape from the way it is angled and how the photographer took the photo because the way the figures and background are placed in the photo you can just tell from that itself.
Most of the faces in the fashion photos are pixelated because in prison you don't really want people to see your identity and it gives you a bad reputation from the outside world so I believe they have done that as an affect to make the viewers really think about why have they done that and what it means.
A infinity backdrop is a single coloured stage that photographers use because it doesn't gather shadows around objects and it makes it look like there is more space in the photo. A lot of professional photographers to get the best photos of objects.

For Fridays task we had to pick a genre that we would like to do and then take four photos which miss gave us certain things to do (for example take a photo of a photo) and then we went off and took the photos around our house. For my first photoshoot I chose the genre still-life, I chose this because I have took photos in the past for still-life and really enjoyed the whole concept of it. My favourite photo out of the four is definitely the second one which is a black and white photo of an alien figure, this is my favourite photo out of the four because it is something weird and unique which people wouldn't usually have in their house and I also like the fact it is black and white because it makes the quality of the photo better in my opinion.
For my second genre I chose to take photos related to nature, I chose to nature because I feel like it is really intriguing because it isn't going to just be a boring. plain photo that people usually take, it is all about getting outside and finding new plants and flowers and making the most out of the natural world. I found this genre fun to do as I have many plants and flowers in my house and I enjoyed finding the best ones to take photos of. My favourite one was again the black and white one but it was because there were three different plants so it involved a lot of nature and I like the lines from the blind and I feel like it makes the photo a lot more interesting and unique. Overall I really enjoyed doing this task because although I like the freedom side of photography and the fact you can do anything you want, it can be fun when someone gives you something to take photos of and gives you instructions because it really makes you think more about the photo.
In Fridays lesson we were given a list of things in our household to take photos of, these were various things such as a fruit wearing a hat or even just a scrunched up piece of paper. I normally I enjoy these tasks as it something fun and productive instead of sitting down all lesson, although I did enjoy taking part in the task today I just wasn't feeling very creative which meant no particularly good ideas came to mind so the photos turned out pretty dull and basic. Overall these photos weren't the worst however I feel like I can do a lot better in the coming up weeks if I tried something similar like this again.
In Fridays lesson we we had to explore and find places we liked on google maps, once we found the places we took screenshots of them and edited them on a site called photopea which is a really good site to edit your photos. While picking the places I wanted to go I was thinking of places that I would like to visit in the future or places that I thought would have cool things to take photos of. For example, the first place I looked at was Tokyo because I really want to go the there because everything just look and seems a lot better there and after roaming around I took photos there which are the first two ones, personally I really like the coco cola van one because that's something different and unique to what we have in England. An example of places where I am not desperate to go was Lithuania and Philippines which are the photos in the top right and the middle, I chose to go here because they seem I was intrigued to find out what it is like there and it turned out to be that there was really abstract places to take photos. When editing and looking for the photos I wasn't really looking for a particular theme, I just wanted to make something that I would like no matter how different they all are to each other. I wanted to take the photos from low angles where the average person could see from to make it more like you are there and so you know how you would see things. To be honest although I went on photopea for all my photos I didn't really look at what I was doing so I just sort of messed around with everything until I came out with a result that I liked but I did change/edit all my photos with photopea and I really enjoyed doing it because it is a cool thing where you can muck around and make your photos look better.
Hiroshi Sugimoto
Hiroshi Sugimoto is a Japanese photographer and architect. Sugimoto took various black and white unique photos, he made his photos different by adding numerous formal elements and mixing them around to make the photos that you just want to unravel see the true identity of the photo. One of the many reasons Sugimoto's photos interest me is the way he uses the light sources on his photos, this is because although the black and white effect makes the photo more dark, Sugimoto will always make sure that there is one source of light in the photo because it makes an eye catching part in the photo as the eye normally leads you to the light if you are looking at something dark and I believe that Sugimoto wanted something to stand out in his photos.
In Fridays lesson we tried to recreate similar photos as Sugimotos, we done this by exploring on google maps and then editing the photos on photopea. When starting this the thing thing I knew I needed to do was take pictures of places where there is a stream of light, this is because that's the first thing I notice when looking at Sugimotos photos as it is really appealing and eye catching. Another thing that I had to make sure of was that all these photos were taken in Japan as this is where Sugimoto comes from and that was an instruction we had to follow and then the last obvious thing I had to do was to put the photo in black and white because all of Sugimotos photos were in black and white and this helped with the lighting because it made the light stand out more which was really useful as that was what I was aiming for. In my opinion I really like how these photos came out because I though I done well with lighting and I just liked the locations of the photos as well. One thing I could've done better with was taking the photos indoors, however I couldn't really find any good places you could go indoors on google maps which was a downfall.
In Fridays lesson we were given a photograph then we were given many instructions to do different things with it. for example write a message on the back of the paper or turn the photograph into a paper aeroplane throw it and then take a photo of where it lands. Personally I found this task really fun, engaging and productive because we could just walk around and do the activity by ourselves with no interruptions, I would love to do something like this again because although you are given instructions it still has a lot of freedom with it because you can be as creative as you want. I'm happy with a lot of these photos and I feel they turned out really well, howver there are the odd few where I couldn't get the best angles or lighting but that's part of photography making mistakes and getting better.
For my final piece in make do and mend I decided to make a handmade photo book full of photos of my choice. Most of the photos are from my virtual trip activity which I done a few week backs, virtual trip is when you go on google maps and travel to several different places across the world and take screenshots of places that seem interesting you and afterwards you can edit them on photopea which is a really good photoshop app that you can mess about and experiment with your photos. The rest of the photos in the photo book were maps of old Tokyo, I chose to use them because many of the virtual trip photos were in Tokyo and also because the maps looked really cool and unique. After I gathered the photos I put them in the photocopier and made them into different colours and messed around with new things to make the photos more engaging. After I had all my photos trimmed and ready I sewed the photos together which was quite hard at first but at the end I got the hang of it and completed both books. After I made my books there were still a lot of photos I printed out left so decided to have a look at Mr Nicholls examples website and found a mini game he made when there are two sets of photos and then you have a dice and each person rolls it and whatever they get they have to take from their pile and first to run out of cards wins.
